| Seminar on Needles conducted at ATDC Bangalore |

ATDC Bangalore in co- ordination with GROZ BECKRT organized a Seminar cum workshop for the benefit of the apparel industry at Bangalore. The seminar was well received by the industry, where around 100 participants attended the knowing your Needles seminar. Mr. Shashi Kanwal Managing Director GROZ BECKRT Chandigarh was the key speaker, who introduced a very keen audience to the nitty gritty of needle selection –technically. This in turn ensures defect free apparels. The audience was amazed at the technology which goes into construction of a needle and its impact on thee quality of apparels .This was followed by a workshop, where a practical demonstration was given to the participants with regard to needle selection for different types of fabrics. Participants enthusiastically brought their problematic fabrics with poor sew ability for advice.All these needles did pierce through every mind to find the various problems on production floor that could be managed by simple tests and solutions. Atdc who were hosting the seminar in their premises gave certain inputs about the different programmes conducted by ATDC. Mrs.Daljit Kaur Principal introduced the audience to ATDC IGNOU Community college at Bangalore and gave them the details of the career path which could be followed by the aspiring candidates to boost up their profile .Participants were eager to have more of such seminars to keep them abreast with the technology in the field of apparel.
